EASY HEALTHY VEGAN WAFFLES

I got this recipe from a good friend of mine and I've been hooked ever since! You must try!

Ingredients:
2 Cups of organic rolled oats
1 Cup of your choice of milk (I use unsweetened coconut milk)
1 Cup of water
1 Ripe banana
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp vanilla
1 pinch of salt

Directions:
Blend everything together, pour in your favorite waffle maker and top with your favorite toppins. I like to use maple syrup or just some whipped cream and berries. So there you go, super easy, super healthy and super yummy!!





HUEVOS RANCHEROS


Ingredients:
2 eggs
2 corn tortillas
2 tbsp "refried" beans
1 tsp real butter or evoo spray
salt & pepper to taste
I also like to top mine with some sriacha sauce :)

Directions:
Spray or melt a very small amount of butter, brown your tortillas in it until crispy. Then make your sunny side up eggs by again spraying or melting a small amount of butter and adding your eggs until cooked. Spread 1tbsp of beans onto each of your tortillas, sit eggs on top and top with your favorite salsa or hot sauce and enjoy! 

Why do I use butter if I'm trying to lose weight? Well, I'm a clean eater. I eat real food, I don't eat margarine or anything synthetic. Butter is perfectly fine to eat in small quantities, matter of fact our bodies need healthy fat to function properly :) I don't really eat anything that's low fat or fat free, I just eat smaller amounts of the real thing!






TROPICAL SMOOTHIE! 

Ingredients:
Frozen mixed tropical fruit (mango, papaya and pineapple)
Orange juice
Ice

Blend and enjoy! So easy, yummy and nutritious! 







My Rise and Shine Green Smoothie Recipe


1/3 cup kale
1/3 cup spinach
1 smal banana
1 cup of mixed fruit (I like tropical fruit)
1 tsp hemp seeds (could replace with chia or flax)
1 cup fresh orange juice
3-4 ice cubes 
Blend!

Enjoy!
